Could I stick with my island theme with blue and brown bedding and white furniture?
One more question; should I stay with the colors orange, pink, red , and yellow for the island theme or with the blues and browns? Thanks
Consider:
1] sand colored carpet or rug for floor
2] ocean colors, in wave pattern, on walls – aqua, turquoise, teal, marine blue
3] with sky and white clouds halfway up, continued on ceiling
4] get a duvet cover or bedspread in your fav brights – in beachy flower or wide striped cabana print
5] cover pillows with bright beach towels in same colors; or buy a few life vests in same brights, zip ‘em up, and use as pillows
6] add a palm tree lamp- desk or floor
7] place a mirror in a life preserver, and hang on wall [ or put a round painting inside ]
8] use an adirondack chair for lounging or reading in
9] old [ metal ] ice chests for a bedside table, side table [ also great for storage ]
10] could buy surfboard shelves for wall
11] large shells for dresser/desk items [ barettes/clips, scrunchies, headbands; paper clips, tacks, etc.
12] stuff the biggest bikini bra you can find, and use as a neck pillow!
